For Lokesh and Lavanya’s engagement, we at Marriage Colours transformed this expansive venue into a stunning backdrop, blending traditional and contemporary elements.
Venue Transformation:
Lokesh and Lavanya’s engagement was a grand affair, utilizing both sections of the Confluence banquet hall. To accommodate the scale of the event, we designed a 60-foot wide stage, spanning half the hall’s 120-foot length. The east-facing stage was meticulously planned to align with traditional practices.
Entrance and Walkway:
The venue’s entrance was transformed with:
- Over 100 plantain trees, creating a traditional and welcoming ambiance.
- A small walkway tunnel with Sampangi string hangings.
- A large walkway with a carpet and decorative towers on both sides.
- The caterer food display was also incorporated into the entrance décor.
A Memorable Event:
Despite a heavy downpour towards the end, the engagement was a resounding success, with guests praising the stunning decor.
Stage Design and Decor:
The stage was a masterpiece of intricate design:
- A 60-foot trussing structure formed the backbone of the stage.
- The backdrop was divided into three sections:
- A central floral bed with intricate floral roses and beadwork.
- Side frames with three sections on each side.
- Green foliage hangings with floral garlands on top, creating an elegant look.
- Detailed work on the trussing and legs added a unique touch, showcasing our commitment to craftsmanship.
